Or Maybe I'm not?! Today in the RL world it was HECTIC day! A girl got fired today. Broke my heart. Was truly a day to just be blah is it Friday yet? It was hot out and humid just so gross. So what makes the day better well shopping of course and picking out your outfits and accessorizing. Didn't do much accessorizing though. I must say this outfit is most certainly a keeper. It's actually called Oxford.  It comes in 4 different colors. I am not a big fan of red but I was actually enjoying the red version. Though I must say the classic black was great. THESE SHOES!!! Now they aren't slink shoes but excuse you I got my MID slink feet to fit in them...mmhmm beauty is pain ladies so I am sure you can squeeze your foot in too... or just use the built in resizer script....that works wonders too! I so want to use these shoes for other outfits!!!!!  Over all crappy morning but I must say it was a perfect day despite all odds. No one is going to make you a rainbow. You need to make one yourself! So like this song  says it's the perfect day and NOTHING is standing in my way. Even had the most dance recital ever!!! Cherry on top for my night! I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE SHOEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS. The hud makes amazing combos even an awesome Mardi Gras Combo mmmhmm for all of you whom are into that and if you aren't into Mardi Gras and maybe more of a comic person as Mr. Fix It said they could pull off as Joker shoes. OOOOOO maybe?  Rowena amazing job as always. I can't wait to see more shoes like this from her! The shoe has three parts you can color change. So imagine the great color combos and of course the dress itself also matches to the colors on the shoes.
As always ZOZ did an amazing job with a new polish which comes in silver tip, black tips and solid color. Now each of the three types has nine colors. Only difference is which tip you prefer or if no tip at all. Ok ok I need to get back to organizing my inventory!

Some how in all this winter chaos lately I didn't get to properly introduce K-Pie Designs. So today with out further delay I bring you K-Pie Designs! Oh Unicorns your killing me with your love. Love love love this hair!!! Now I am very very rarely not a brunette but this hair made me want to be blunette!!!!! Now this hair does come with brown (8 colors available)  but when I put on the blue....I was loving it. • The shoes come in several colors sold sepeartely BUT each color does come with a hud so that you can change not only the ribbon you can actually change the shoe height to 3 different heights. I have it set to the most it can go. 

MOST IMPORTANTLY I want to talk about this top. BluPrintz did an amazing job with it. It comes with a color hud so you can make it any color you like. BUT that's not what is amazing about this shirt, the texture she uses actually sparkles. It's amazing in the right light settings it twinkles. When I first saw it - jaw drops - I am soooo looking forward to other items she will be making with this amazing material!

2015

Ok so this is going to be a bit of a mushy post. I wanted to take the time to thank all my followers, my sponsors, family and friends whom have helped me be where I am today. Beauty and the Dork has been an incredible journey and I have made my one year mark. I have always done my best to have fun no matter what I post. There were times I was discouraged and wanted to give up. I am glad that I didn't because I have learned a lot and have had so much fun. I set six goals for myself  at the beginning of this journey, some goals a bit more out of reach than others but I over exceeded 3 of my goals and my other 3 goals I was really close to achieving. I am content with what I have accomplished. Started off with just women's fashion and home decor than expanded to adding male and toodleedoo fashion. No songs today just extra loving!

I also wanted to thank the person who helped me get started on this journey. I always looked up to them and was always seeking for their approval. Sometimes they gave me hell. Sometimes they made me feel like nothing I ever did was good enough. Some advice given I followed some I didn't but I can honestly say I learned a lot. Even though I blog for fun, I want to improve myself, I want to be a better blogger, take better photos and show off my designer's creation as best as I can. In the end things took a very sad and unexpected turn. Like all little birds, eventually you have to leave the nest. Regardless if you fall out or you jump out you have to fly on your own or you'll fall. I knew how to fly it was inside of me all along. But thank you for showing me the way.
